Don Seal - Cherokee and Douglas Angler Surveys

 

Don Seal

Don is a native of Jefferson County, Tennessee. He attended Rush Strong High School then served in the US Army from 1954-1956. Don began his professional career at the Jefferson Cabinet Company in June of 1956. He attended numerous training courses in supervision, foremanship, and management. His duties included scheduling production and maintaining quality. He retired in June, 1990.

Don began with the TWRA in 1990 as a creel clerk and continues to creel both Cherokee and Douglas Reservoirs. Don is a part-time farmer and resides on his 40-acre farm in New Market with his wife of 45 years, Betty. They have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. He enjoys deer and turkey hunting and raising beef cattle.
