Bart Carter - Regional Fisheries Coordinator
Bart Carter grew up in Knox County Tennessee near the community of Corryton. He graduated from Gibbs High School in 1984 and went on to study Wildlife and Fisheries Science at the University of Tennessee between 1984 and 1989. Upon completing a Bachelor of Science degree at U.T., he entered graduate school at Tennessee Technological University where he received a Masters of Science degree in Biology in 1991.
Bart began his professional career with the National Park Service in 1991 when he accepted a fisheries position in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. He left the Park Service in 1994 to take a Wildlife Manager position within Region IV's Stream Data Collection Unit. He was recently promoted and is currently Region IV's Fisheries Coordinator.
